December Edition
Avion Graphics would like to share some exciting news with you:

Avion Graphics is excited to work with Hawaiian Airlines.

We have had a great relationship working with Hawaiian airlines, providing them with all of their 767 paint masks and decal needs. We are pleased to announce that they have selected Avion Graphics to provide everything necessary for their 717 paint program, which begins in January.

United and Continental use Avion Graphics

Since 1985, both Airlines have been customers of Avion Graphics. We are very pleased to be involved in the merger of these two grandfather airlines. Avion Graphics helped create the globe on the Continental tail, and we are thrilled to see the two designs come together. We are proud to say we have been asked to continue to provide them with the same level of service for the future – as we have for decades.

Pinnacle chooses Avion

We are thrilled to announce that Pinnacle Airlines selected Avion Graphics to handle all livery and small markings for their current paint project. Pinnacle has been a valued customer for many years, and we are very happy to further strengthen our relationship with this project.

Avion Graphics develops a new product

We have created a new transfer ink product. This new product eliminates the vinyl film that is used on a traditional decal. We silk screen the letters onto a transfer film that the ink does not bind to, and is protected by another layer of this non-binding film. After the decal is applied and removed, only ink is left on the a/c. The letters are quickly applied, with no drying time required. To protect the ink, the painter can apply a clear coat to encapsulate the ink. The ink is only 2 mils thick and the letters appears to have been painted on. Avion is excited to have entered into a contract with Goodrich and Rohr to provide them this unique transfer product.

Boeing Parts and Avion

Avion has a licensing agreement with Boeing. This agreement allows us to make any BAC part, with the original part number, including a PMA or an 8130 tag. We are please to announce that we are expanding our agreement with Boeing to include all Douglas and Military aircraft.
